Nothing could divide the teams when Workington Reds Development took on Maryport Athletic with the game ending in a 1-1 stalemate.

The Reds’ goal came from Matthew Foster and a deflected shot from Athletic’s Ryley Short ensured the points were shared

In the other game Cockermouth made the trip to Cleator Moor to take on the Celtic Reserves and Rob Cox hit the only goal of the game for the visitors.

In the East Division Northbank’s trip to the seaside to play Silloth proved to be a stroll on the beach as they registered an 8-2 win.

Connor Shields and Luke Miller each notched a brace with Dean Norman, Chris Slack, Matthew Coombe and Kevin McKenna weighing in with the others.  Lewis Mulla and Gareth Lewis provided some resistance from Silloth.

Pirelli maintained their good run of results with a 4-1 home win over Newlaithes.  Ellis James, Kieran Blair and a double from Tom Lucock ensured the points went to Pirelli, Elliott Travers provided the Newlaithes’ response.matty foster goal.png

There was a close game at Barton Laws when ex-Reds star Anthony Wright notched the only goal of the game to give Wigton a 1-0 home win over Aspatria.

In West Division Division Two the Whitehaven Miners v Moor Row fixture was switched to Friday evening, and the visitors took full advantage.

Miners were unable to penetrate the Moor Row defence while goals from Ben Graham, Scott Davidson and Reece Bewley gave Moor Row a 3-0 win.

Mirehouse travelled to Egremont to take on Windscale Reserves and found themselves two goals behind midway through the first period,
