cowsspooked.pngTRAILING had to be curtailed at Lowick tonight – but not through any fault of the weather,

After the seniors had completed their trail, the farmer whose land was involved, asked for the remaining two races to be shelved.

It appears a member of the public – not involved with the hound trailing fraternity – had spooked his cows and damaged property.

As a consequence the puppy and open restricted trails were not run.

There was disappointment in the seniors for table leader Miterdale Shadow who could only manage sixth of eight behind the winner Jenny’s Oracle.

Wednesday, September 16

Seniors: 1, Jenny's Oracle; 2, Wild Gypsy; 3, Huntsman’s Major; 4, Adele; 5, Hawkswood; 6, Miterdale Shadow. 8 ran, time 25.22.
