cracking double.pngThere was a cracking double at Millstone Moor on Tuesday night in the senior and puppy trails.

Robert Airey and Bill Mellon were celebrating after Cracking Spirit took the opening old dogs trail while the consistent Cracking Last One Two beat title contender Wait ‘n See in the pups.

Paul Airey’s Meadow Josie was successful in the final trail of the night winning the open restricted from Black Legend.

They had raced on Monday at Kirkland when the 2019 puppy and senior champions clashed in the opener.

It was the younger Acorn who triumphed but the pair were split by Blue Blaze with Crazy having to settle for third place.

Puppy table leader Young Henry was beaten by Miss Ava in the pups, with another title contender Jenny’s Quest back in fourth.

In the picture below one of the senior hounds decides to go through the gate wile the others streamed through a gap in the hedge to the right of the gate.
